The Girl Behind The Camera... That would be me!

Hello all!

Welcome to my little corner of the world where the weather may not always be nice, but things are always fun.

My name is Annelise Woodward and I'm the girl taking the shots!
I'm currently located in beautiful Boise Idaho!

I was born and raised in the Great White North, aka… Americas Hat… aka Canada!
No... I'm not a lumber jack, or a fur trader. I don’t live in an igloo, or eat blubber, or own a dog sled, and I don’t know Jimmy, Sally or Susie from Canada although I'm certain they're really, really nice. :-)
Ok ok.. So I borrowed those lines from a classic Molson Canadian Beer commercial. But it's true, I don’t do, own, or know any of those things or people. :-)

I was raised in a very artistic family, where there always seemed to be camera's capturing ever little moment. I may be young but thanks to my father, I remember the days when he used a Nishika 3D camera. You may or may not remember them, but they're the ones that took photos that looked like they were "3D", more so meaning "photos that gave you a really bad headache if you stared at them long enough!"

My father has been my inspiration from a very young age, displaying his own photographs in our home. A great photographer himself, he taught me a lot over the years. On more than one occasion I thought to myself, "I wanna be just like daddy."

Now years later, I credit all of my work to him!

My family is super important to me. Especially my wonderful husband!

I do what I do because I love it! To me anything (well almost anything) can be made beautiful through the lens of a camera! It may sound cliché, but its true.

I love life, God, and all the beauty he's created for us! Which is why I love to capture it!
Working with amazing people like yourself is why I wake up each morning. I find so much joy and pleasure in making other smile and capturing them in the best light imaginable!

I know everyone is beautiful, and I can prove it! I hope you'll let me!
